As seen on mailinglist:
Question: "I seem to have met an impasse, since the machine refuses to boot from the iso. I'm going to try a different cdrom drive, but I would appreciate any hints. I would especially like to hear if anyone knows how to make a bootdisk for the iso, like one used to use with distributions before booting from cd was a standard feature."
Answer from ISO Guru: "I tested the ISO on an old i486 machine and of course, such BIOS do not support CDROM booting. So, to test the ISO anyway, I make a bootdisk using btmgr (
http://btmgr.sf.net). Here is how I create the bootdisk:
fdformat /dev/fd0 sbminst -d /dev/fd0
That's it!"
PS. Please feel free to place any ideas, help and/or experiences here.
