Accommodation
A list of hotels in Eindhoven can be found on Google Maps. CouchSurfing.com has a list of over 250 couches available in Eindhoven (Search in Netherlands->Noord Brabant->Eindhoven). And finally I can of course shop around with friends for available couches for people to crash on.
Getting there
The university is just across the street from the train station, so coming by train is dead easy. Eindhoven also has it's own airport with select flights. There are some budget line flights to and from Eindhoven, so if you're lucky enough to be near an airport that has a direct flight to Eindhoven that can be very cheap indeed. For instance a return ticket London-Stansted, Eindhoven could be as cheap as 100 euro incl. taxes and a return ticket Prague, Eindhoven could even be as cheap as 85 euro incl. taxes.
The following cities have direct flights to and from Eindhoven:
- Alicante
- Barcelona Girona
- Barcelona Reus (from 4 june 2009)
- Bristol (from 31 march 2009)
- Budapest
- Dublin
- Faro
- Katowice
- London City
- London Stansted
- Madrid
- Malaga
- Marseille
- Milano Bergamo
- Pisa
- Prague (from 27 june 2009)
- Rome
- Stockholm

Organisation
Event organiser: Remko van der Vossen (takes care of the venue, help people with travel plans, general schedule, etc.)
Talks organiser: open position (takes care of a talks schedule, finding speakers, gathering presentations, etc.)
Workshop organiser: Jaka Kranjc (takes care of organising a workshop, workshop schedule, recruit people to help, etc.)
PR officer: open position (takes care of posters to announce the event and flyers on SMGL to hand out, and perhaps a few burned copies of the ISO)
Cert organiser: Remko van der Vossen (takes care of the PGP/CAcert/Thawte session, compile a keychain, provide forms, etc.)
Now please note that this is an informal thing, while it is important that some things are taken care of, it doesn't have to be perfect and you won't be held accountable for the odd mishap or anything. It's more that people know who to turn to when something needs taking care of. Schedules don't have to be tight, take some leeway and allow for some runoff.
Talks
- Jaka: sorcery (improved ;)), qa?, $(requests welcome)
- Thomas: the general SMGL introduction, again?
Workshop
- Jaka: quill, merging and resolving conflicts?, qa?, $(requests welcome)
Thomas could perhaps use a workshop that makes him more comfortable in using git. Founded explanation of the basic concepts, arriving at everyday usage with instinctive branching and instant conflict resolution.
Key Signing Party
If you want to take part in a PGP/CAcert/Thawte session to exchange and sign PGP keys or do/receive identity assertions for CAcert and/or Thawte X.509 SSL certificates please add your name here. Please indicate in the Interested column in which programs you are interested by their initial letter, and if you are a CAcert assurer and/or Thawte notary please specify how many points you can issue.
There will most likely also be quite a number of Stack members who would like to exchange PGP signatures and/or CAcert and Thawte certifications. You should easily get to 100 trust points for CAcert and thus immediately able to certify other people.

Facilities
At Stack we have a high speed internet connection, places to sit, music, sodas, snacks and beer, so I think we're covered. The Stack room is accessible mo-fr 8.00h - 22.30h and 12.00h - 18.00h on saturday and sunday. I can arrange for a classroom with beamer where we can do some talks and perhaps a workshop or the like.
