Here's a list of what the current Cauldron Lead needs to do when a new ISO is released.
Internal to Source Mage
The lead will ensure that, either themselves or delegated:
- The ISO is signed with the approved key.
- The ISO and signature are uploaded to the appropriate locations.
- Release announcement emails are sent to the mailing lists (sm-discuss, sm-users, sm-announce)
A release announcement is posted to the news on www.sourcemage.org
Update the page Download_Source_Mage
Update the topics in IRC (irc.freenode.net) on channels #sourcemage and #sourcemage-cauldron
External to Source Mage
The lead will ensure that, either themselves or delegated:
- The wikipedia entry is updated
- Distrowatch is updated
Email Ladislav Bodnar <distro |AT| distrowatch {dotz0r} com> with the announcement
- Freshmeat is updated
